Swimming on the edge Victoria Falls વિક્ટોરિયા ધોધ

વિક્ટોરિયા ધોધ જેને સ્થાનિક ભાષામાં Mosi-oa-Tunya (પ્રચંડ ગર્જના કરતો ધુમાડો!) કહે છે તે દક્ષિણ આફ્રિકામાં ઝામ્બિયા અને ઝિમ્બાબ્વે નામના દેશોની વચ્ચે આવેલો છે. વિચિત્ર આકારનો અને ૧૨૮ મિટર ઊંચો આ ધોધ અમુક રીતે વિશ્વમાં સૌથી મોટો ધોધ છે.

આ ધોધ ‘ડેવિલના સ્વિમીંગ પુલ’ તરીકે પણ ઓળખાય છે. સપ્ટેમ્બરથી ડિસેમ્બરમાં આ ધોધની કિનાર સુધી પણ તરી શકાય છે અને તે પણ નીચે પડી જવાના કોઈ ડર વગર!

    ના, આ મજાક કે ફોટોશોપની કમાલ નથી. આ હકિકત છે! સપ્ટેમ્બરથી ડિસેમ્બરમાં આ ધોધની કિનાર સુધી પણ તરી શકાય છે અને તે પણ નીચે પડી જવાના કોઈ ડર વગર!

    I thought this photo was a trick.. but really, it is amazing… I also learned about world’s largest mirror from the blog you mentioned… it’s incredible !

    but if this was in USA, I bet still no would be be allow to go near fall… it’s still dangerous yaar…!
